About Adithya Sathya

I am a student at Texas A&M University pursuing a Master of Science in Visualization. I am a prospective lighting and rendering TD and a look development artist with over 9 years of experience with 3D Computer Graphics and Animation

Starting as a generalist in Blender since early high school, I am well-versed in every part of the computer graphics pipeline. I have directed/been an active team member in multiple individual and team projects, helping produce content and quality storytelling as I pursue my master's degree at Texas A&M. Having worked in both the front-end and back-end of a studio pipeline and understanding it comprehensively as a whole as well as the intricacies and technical details of each step of the process, I believe that I am a good candidate that sees the big picture and delivers results on a storytelling level in the work I do as well as showing mastery in aesthetics and visual fidelity across my works.

I am originally from Chennai, India, where the tropical sands of the Marina shores meet a bustling city filled to the brim with Indian culture and entertainment. This vibrance of art and culture influenced me artistically and created a passion for filmmaking and storytelling. Growing up with Hollywood films, animated and live-action, as well as Indian films and art, I bring a sense of stylized reality to my works, both exploring universal themes and emotions, as well as justified and enhanced aesthetics and cinematography through lighting. I am excited to continue to pursue these passion as a career in the animation industry and beyond and bring my stories and artistic vision to the screen for everyone to enjoy
